PLOT

Inside a derelict building in Cubao, an underground competition takes place between pick-up artists. They trade their best lines on stage, hoping to win over the crowd with wit and swagger. And in this arena, Boy Pick-Up is the undefeated champion, his powerful non-sequiturs taking down challenger after challenger. But though he triumphs on stage, outside he struggles to make rent. He gets a job at the bakery owned by Angel, a recently jilted balikbayan. Boy woos Angel, and wins her affections. But his love for her makes him vulnerable, and that allows the villainous Bagwis an opportunity to take his revenge.
